Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

This government initiative helps eligible children aged 2-17 receive up to $1000 in dental services over two years. It covers essential services like checkups, cleans, x-rays, sealants, fillings, and extractions.

Your child may be eligible for the CDBS scheme if:
  • They are aged 0 to 17 years for at least 1 day of the calendar year
  • They are eligible for Medicare on the day of service
  • They are part of a family getting certain Australian Government payments
Wondering if your child is eligible? You might receive a letter, or you can check via your Medicare account, the Department of Human Services, or simply give us a call. We can verify eligibility directly.

To use the CDBS, contact us for an oral health assessment. We'll ensure your child gets the most out of this beneficial scheme.

Yes. Our team can arrange payment plans for patients based on their individual situation. Get in touch with our clinic to discuss a custom payment plan option.

We recommend choosing a private health fund that has no preferred provider system. The preferred provider system restricts you going to certain providers; hence, you do not have complete freedom of choice when choosing your health professional. Further, you can compare multiple PHF from unbiased Gov website: www.privatehealth.gov.au.

We accept all Australian health funds or private health insurers and have an in-practice HICAPS terminal for on-the-spot claims.

Our clinic accepts all major Australian credit cards, cash and bank transfer payments.
