So…..2021 hey! Let’s not dwell too much on the steaming pile of rubbish 2020 turned into and let’s focus on the future instead.
Here at Mentone Family Dentist, we struggled through 3 lockdowns and the severe restrictions placed on all dentists in Victoria by the powers that be and we have now (fingers crossed) come out the other side! With a fresh outlook and determination to be the best we can be and provide you with the best service you deserve, we will do our utmost to make your visit with us as comfortable and as safe as possible.
Of course, we can’t go through what we have without having to make some changes to the way we do things. Here at Mentone Family Dentist, you can be assured that all measures of protection and infection control are taken extremely seriously. None of us take for granted the responsibility for your safety, and ours, that we undertake daily.
Both staff and patients temperatures are checked upon arrival followed by an extensive covid questionnaire that is kept on record if ever needed to be referred back to at a later date.
Masks, while no longer mandatory, are preferred to be worn in our reception area. Whilst we do our best to minimise patient crossover, sometimes this is unavoidable so any precautions that can be taken should be.
We still have density limits to the number of patrons permitted on the premises that we must adhere to, so we ask that if it’s possible, you come to your appointment alone. Obviously, there are times where this is not possible and during those times we ask that you be respectful of social distancing requirements.
Infection prevention protocols required in the surgery are also being implemented in the reception area and we ask that you be mindful of where you put your hands, especially if you’ve
had your fingers in your mouth! Hand sanitiser is provided and we are more than happy for you to use it multiple times if needed.
Varied forms of PPE are utilised here at Mentone Family Dentist and disposed of after every patient.
You can be confident in the fact that when you come to see us for whatever treatment you're are needing, you will not only be treated with care and compassion, but your safety is always at the forefront of your actions.
Stay safe, be well and see you soon.
